House plans in spotlight
Architectural blueprint
The new homes are being proposed for a field at Mont al'Abbe
More than 120 new homes could be built on a field in the Jersey parish of St Helier if a proposal is approved by the planning department.

The department is also being asked to consider a proposal to provide six garden allotments and to build an al fresco area for a country club.

The 126 one, two, three and four-bedroom homes are being proposed with garages, parking and a community building on a field at Mont al'Abbe.

It is in a built-up area and has been allocated for qualified housing.

The owners of the Golf and Country Club at Les Mielles are asking Planning to consider their request to build a new bar area and to pave part of the car park to increase the outdoor eating area.

There are also plans to split a field in Trinity into six garden allotments with parking and garden sheds.
