Call for 'impartial' politicians
The President of Alderney States has spoken out against party politics and is calling for all States members to remain impartial.

Sir Norman Browse said he expected members to act as individuals in the best interests of the island.

He asked members to avoid "active participation" in groups, including Vision and the Chamber of Commerce.

The president said he did not want the island to suffer from inadequate and undemocratic decisions.
