States to make new appointments

Two Alderney deputies will represent the island in Guernsey's States
A number of new appointments are to be made in the States of Alderney.

At its meeting later this month, Sir Norman Browse will be sworn in again as president, following his re-election last month.

A vice-president will be chosen by the deputies and members will be given the opportunity to make amendments to the constitutions of island committees.

Two deputies who will represent the island in Guernsey's States must also be selected.
