300 quiz candidates at hustings
Ballot box
The elections take place on 21 April
The second of Guernsey's hustings meetings drew large crowds in the Vale on Thursday night.

About 300 people crammed into the Douzaine Room to hear from the 11 candidates hopeful of securing a seat in Guernsey's new-look government.

The topic of euthanasia was raised as was a plan for a waste-to-energy plant at Longue Hougue.

The next hustings will be held on Wednesday 14 April when it is the turn of Castel and St Sampson's.

These meetings will be held on 14 April and St Peter Port North and the South East on 15 April.

The final meeting, for St Peter Port South, will take place on 16 April.
