Hornby's latest book is about his favourite songs

Novelist Nick Hornby has won a literary award selected by fellow writers.
He scooped the London Award 2003 after taking part in the Orange Word International Writers Season in London.
Ten leading writers who took part in the season - including Germaine Greer, Zadie Smith and Doris Lessing - voted for their favourite among their number.
Hornby, author of Fever Pitch, High Fidelity and About A Boy, was presented with a first edition of Charles Dickens' novel David Copperfield.

recognised with this award."
Previous winners include Margaret Atwood, JG Ballard and Salman Rushdie.
The Orange Word event has seen writers appearing on stage at the Gielgud Theatre in London to discuss their work and literature.
Three of Hornby's books have been made into films, Fever Pitch, High Fidelity and About a Boy.
