Public consulted on seafront plan
Weston's Tropicana
The Tropicana is a landmark in Weston
Proposals for the Tropicana site in Weston-super-Mare will go out to public consultation on Monday.

The public exhibition, at the Winter Gardens, will allow people to look at all the options being considered for the site.

Two redevelopment proposals have been shortlisted by North Somerset Council, which is also looking at other options including demolition.

The site could be returned to beach, or money put in to refurbish the pool.

Councillor Alan Hockridge, leader of the council, said: "We want to inform people about all the options that will be considered and are committed to listening to what people have to say."

A final decision will be taken by the council on 28 June.

The plans are available to view on 20 and 22 June, from 1600 to 1900 BST.
