A state-of-the-art music venue will be part of a £1.25m new block at a Derbys school after final funding was secured.
The block at Hope Valley College will be the first of its kind to be built in any Derbyshire school.
It will include a floor that can be raised to become a stage for music or theatrical performances, with seating for an audience around it.
The government is contributing £500,000 with the county council giving £650,000 and the school £100,000.
