Two schools in Derbyshire are set to be transformed after winning a £9m award.
The county council was given the cash to improve Mill Hill School, Ripley, and the Immaculate Conception Catholic Primary School in Spinkhill.
Mill Hill School was given £6m to replace part of a large teaching block with an up-to-date building with more modern facilities.
The Spinkhill school will get the rest of the money to help to convert it into a single-site school.
