DJ Huw's A level success
BBC Radio 1's youngest DJ is celebrating passing three A levels - with appropriate grades of B, B and C.

Huw Stephens
Huw Stephens opened his results live on air
Huw Stephens, 18, who started with the station a month ago, opened his results envelope live on the Breakfast Show, hosted by Scott Mills.

"You would think I had just made it up," he joked, after seeing his grades for his exams in drama, Welsh and media studies.

Huw was still studying for the exams when his BBC appointment was announced in June.

He had been hoping to take a media course at Bangor University, but put his plans on hold.

Despite scooping good grades, Huw could not spent too much time celebrating on Thursday.

After appearing on the Breakfast Show in London, he had to return to his home city Cardiff to present his section of the Evening Session show, which broadcasts just to Wales.
