President Putin’s special envoy Kirill Dmitriev says that Russia -US dialogue is ongoing. A U.S. delegation is in attendance at this year's forum for the first time since 2018 including the chair of the administration’s Commission of Fine Arts and architect of President Donald Trump’s White House ballroom, Rodney Cook. The software giant Anthropic says advanced AI systems are beginning to show signs they could go rogue and has urged a coordinated global slowdown in building them. President Trump says he's spoken directly to the Iranian-backed group Hezbollah -- officially designated in the US as a foreign terrorist organisation -- about a possible end to fighting in Lebanon.
