In Welsh the three main meals of the day are:

| Swper | Supper |
If we want to ask someone what they like to eat for these meals we say:
| Be' dach chi'n hoffi i frecwast? | What do you like for breakfast? |
Or, in the more informal way, "Be' wyt ti'n hoffi i frecwast?"
| Be' wyt ti'n hoffi i frecwast? | What do you like for breakfast? |
| Be' wyt ti'n hoffi i ginio? | What do you like for lunch? |
| Be' wyt ti'n hoffi i swper? | What do you like for supper? |
Notice that there is a soft mutation after the 'i'. Brecwast becomes frecwast and cinio becomes ginio. For help your mutations, click on the toolbox button.
