To want

In Welsh the verb isio, means 'to want' and is different to other verbs. Edrychwch - look at these sentences:

Dw i'n bwyta.I eat / I'm eating.
Dw i isio.I want.
Mae hi'n rhedeg. She runs / she is running.
Mae hi isio.She wants.

Notice that there isn't an 'n' before the verb isio.
To ask someone what they want we say:
Be' dach chi isio? - What do you want?

or, more informally

Be' wyt ti isio?

To ask if they want something specific, we say:

Wyt ti isio paned?Do you want a cuppa?
Wyt ti isio siocled?Do you want chocolate?
