Scene 1
1. Adjectives will take a soft mutation after "Mae hi'n", "Roedd hi'n " and "Bydd hi'n". Gwyntog becomes mae hi'n wyntog, roedd hi'n wyntog, bydd hi'n wyntog. Twym becomes mae hi'n dwym, roedd hi'n dwym, bydd hi'n dwym. Braf is an exception to this rule: mae hi'n braf, roedd hi'n braf, bydd hi'n braf.
Verbs don't take a soft mutation in this context. To rain is bwrw glaw, so that stays the same - mae hi'n bwrw glaw, roedd hi'n bwrw glaw, bydd hi'n bwrw glaw.
2. Sometimes people leave out the 'hi', and take it for granted, so you may hear or read phrases like 'Mae'n braf'. This is just as acceptable.
