Choosing HE subjects - checklist
Will I like this subject?
You’ll be spending an awful
lot of time doing it over the next few years.Do you really know what’s involved?
Is it going to hold your interest?
Is this subject popular?
Generally speaking, the more popular the subject, the higher the grades you’ll
need.
Subjects which lots of people
want to do, like psychology, physiotherapy, medicine and English, are harder to
get into.
However, trends vary. Your careers adviser can give you information on these trends.
Do I want to take more than
one subject?

Do I need to take this subject
to get the job I want?
