FAQ

4. I didn’t do as well in my exams as I hoped. What can I do next?

Don’t worry. You need to decide whether you would prefer to continue in education or go into employment. Your options include:

  • resitting your exams in school or at college
  • taking a different type of course that may suit you better, e.g. a more practical course like GNVQs, AVCEs or BTEC
  • getting a Modern Apprenticeship
  • going into other employment
  • studying part-time while working

Talk over these options with your family, friends, teachers and a careers adviser before making a final decision.
