FAQ

12. What is available in the Careers Office/Shop?

There is information on careers and various occupations; skills and qualifications needed, pay and conditions, training available, and relevant addresses and websites.

There is also access to the Internet, University and College prospectuses, relevant careers CD Roms and software packages, self-help books and other useful publications, and daily newspapers to look for vacancies.

There is a vacancy board to advertise the opportunities in the area. The majority will concentrate on those aimed at 16 to 19 year olds. Clients are also offered interviews with an employment and training adviser or a careers adviser to discuss their ideas and future plans.
