Jack is insulted by the paltry extra amount the government awards pensioners who reach the age of 80. It's just 25p a week - this wouldn't even buy a first class stamp these days. To add to this they offer a measly £10 Christmas bonus, and it's been that for 24 years. How is this supposed to help elderly people keep themselves warm and fed?
