Desider arrived in the UK as a young Jewish refugee from Czechoslovakia. Now semi-retired and living in Cardiff, he looks at a photograph of his classmates before the war, picking out his close friends. He believes three quarters of the class disappeared during the war, probably murdered by the Nazis.
