i wish in some ways we could return to your christmas past away from the commercial christmas we have today where children expect the latest toy and christmas trees and decorations are out of a box bring back open fires tiger nuts tin plate toys and dolls and prams.

I don't come from your neck of the woods but I do remember the kisses under the mistletoe and dodging the fellows we didn't like. We didn't have sugar pigs but sugar mice and yes they were kept year after year. I also remember tiger nuts and spanish wood brought for one old pennie each in London.
