mini review
A very tight sound for a three-piece that's only been going for a few months. The sound is grungey with Nirvana being the obvious point of reference. These boys can make a big noise, but the singing fails to match the power of the guitars. Good hair for rocking out ....

The line up is as follows:

Greg Graham - Vocals, Guitar
Tom Freeman - Drums, Backing Vocals
Joff Marwood - Bass

Greg and Tom "officially" formed the Rodeo Clowns in July 2005, when they needed a name to go on the demo they created as a two piece. Joff joined in September and the band is starting to get higher profile gigs including an appearance at the John Peel Day gig at the Ipswich Steamboat Tavern on 13th October 2005.

Greg and Tom are also classical and jazz musicians (trumpet and drums respectively) and aim to incorporate this into their music with the band.. Most important for the Rodeo Clowns is live performance, which is why they started this band in the first place.

Check out their website to find out more about the band.

The Rodeo Clowns took part in BBC Suffolk's inaugral John Peel Day gig at the Steamboat Tavern in Ipswich. Click here for pictures, audio interviews and live recordings..
