Office worker

Have you ever sat in the office one day and thought I’ve had enough?

By Anthony Evans
Many people have, whether it’s starting up a new business, moving across the country or going back into education to retrain. But what are the reasons behind it?

After being an engineer for 4 years from leaving college, I decided that I'd had enough of waking up at 6.30am every morning and dreading the next 10 hours. I started to look for different possibilities that I could take and found that going back to college and university was the best route for me.

My main reason for leaving was that I couldn't see myself working in a job I hated for the next 45 years. After this I started to think why other people did the same ...

Did lots of people hate their job like me? Or are there other reasons why people decide to up sticks and make a major change? What other considerations do people have to make and how does it affect the people around them?

Find out more about why people decide to quit.
