Acoustic Talent Spreads Across Staffordshire!

By Jayne Adams
A man playing his guitar and singing, or indeed a woman doing that, a keyboard, a bass, a saxophone, a mandalin and shakey thing, plus original poetry! Yes indeed, acoustic nights can offer much more than you might think!

If supporting local performers while you sip on your favourite tipple, or even revealing your musical or artistic talent appeals, then you should pop down to an acoustic night near you.

To investigate I called by Langtrys in Stone, to meet Paul Walker, who is the host of their acoustic night. What characters come and perform? Are they all trying to make it big? And, what does he do if they are rubbish?!!

Trent Vale Poet
Trent Vale Poet

The Trent-Vale poet, who, as the title suggests writes poetry and comes from Trent-Vale, gives an insight into how the audience react, and how the acoustic night allows him to promote his own work.

Gino, who plays guitar, explains about pre performance nerves, and how they will never go away!!
