"Everywhere I go I have a Czech mind. It's not like when I
go to Asia I try to change to my Asia mind, then use my
Australia mind. I'm definitely influenced by America, but still
keeping my one Czech mind."
Women's semi-finalist Nicole Vaidisova 'explains' her psyche.
"I'm the ultimate competitor. I feel awesome."
Serena Williams' mindset appears somewhat less complicated.
"I have to work harder. I have to improve my game, my serve, try to play better and
better."
Lucie Safarova takes a straightforward lesson from her quarter-final defeat.
"I've lost to Roger a bunch of times and he's a great player
but I feel like I'm improving a lot right now - I'd love to play
him in the semis."
Hmm... Hands up who believes Andy Roddick really is hoping he meets Federer in the last four.
"I love to read, I read all the Harry Potter novels. I am
not reading the last one because I was crying at the last one I
read. I'm not going to read anymore, I get too emotionally
involved."
Serena again, this time on her reading habits.
