Roger Federer's part-time coach Tony Roche has agreed to help Indian rising star Sania Mirza on a short-term basis.
Roche will work with the 18-year-old for three weeks over Christmas, reports the Sydney Morning Herald.
"The people looking after her just felt that she needs a bit of work on a few areas of her game," said Roche.
Mirza has risen from outside the top 200 to her current ranking of 32 within a year, becoming a huge star in India in the process.
Roche added: "I'm just going to have a look at her and just see what she needs to do.
"She's had a pretty good year, made some big inroads, so it will be interesting to see.
"I'm not going to be travelling - I'm just going to help her with a bit of what she needs to work on for a couple of weeks."
