Anderson wins the Scottish vote
British swimmer Jim Anderson receives his gold medal in Athens
Anderson won four gold medals at the Athens Paralympics
Paralympic hero Jim Anderson has been named BBC Scotland Sports Personality of the Year for 2004.

The winner of four swimming golds at the Athens Games received 34% of the public vote, beating Ryder Cup star Colin Montgomerie into second place.

41-year-old Anderson holds world record times for the 200m freestyle, 100m backstroke and 50m backstroke.

The other nominees were Chris Hoy, Shirley Robertson, Scott Harrison and Julie Fleeting.
