Llanelli Scarlets are facing a fixture pile-up after their Celtic League match with Munster was postponed on Saturday.
The Scarlets now have four games in hand over most of their rivals with just two months of the season left.
"We have a backlog of fixtures as it is," said Scarlets chief executive Stuart Gallacher.
"We've managed to rearrange games with Ospreys, Dragons and Ulster but this causes us a problem. Munster will now be a midweek game."
Local firemen were called to try to drain the surface water off the Stradey Park pitch on Saturday, but their efforts proved in vain as referee Rob Dickson judged the pitch unplayable less than an hour before kick-off.
