Llanelli 77-13 Caerphilly
Caerphilly feel the full force of Llanelli centre Salesi Finau

Llanelli ensured there was no repeat of their shock defeat at Caerphilly
earlier this month with a record Welsh Premiership victory at Stradey
Park.
There was never any danger of a similar surprise to the 33-20 loss at Virginia
Park as the Scarlets crossed for 13
tries.
Showing flashes of the form which has lit up Europe this season Llanelli
showed far too much pace and flair for the patched-up visitors.
Impressive wing Garan Evans raced in for a hat-trick of tries with skipper
Leigh Davies, centre Matt Cardey and replacement wing Wayne Proctor also
claiming a brace apiece.

The Scarlets were on the front foot once Scott Quinnell powered
over for the game's opening try after just four minutes.
As Llanelli rattled along at a point a minute in the opening quarter,
Caerphilly were grateful for the home side squandering a host of scoring
opportunities which would have seen them out of sight at half-time.
As it was, they turned around 29-13 to the good thanks to further tries from
Evans, full-back Barry Davies and two from Cardey.
Caerphilly did respond with an interception try from former Llanelli favourite
Justin Thomas after 28 minutes and seven points from the boot of Luke Richards.
A try barely a minute after the restart by skipper Davies set the tone for a
one-sided second half as the Scarlets turned on the style to eclipse their
previous best win over Caerphilly of 74-22 - set in the 1999-2000 season.
