Former Wales coach Graham Henry has advised his successor Steve Hansen to have a radical rethink of his selection policy.
Henry, who quit his Wales job 19 months ago allowing assistant Hansen to take the helm, says there is no cornerstone to the Welsh pack and that this must be addressed ahead of Saturday's crunch Group D encounter with Italy in Canberra.
Most surprisingly, the man formerly known in Welsh rugby circles as 'The Great Redeemer' says that captain Colin Charvis should be dropped from the starting XV.
"There should be no place for Charvis with the captaincy passing to Martyn Williams, Alix Popham is the only natural number eight in the squad," said Henry, speaking as a television pundit after watching Wales' unimpressive 27-20 win over Tonga.

"I think selection of the side is crucial. If the best team plays against Italy then they can win, but it's going to be interesting.
"There are lots of crucial selections like tighthead prop, where there doesn't appear to be a cornerstone.
"I know that Gethin (Jenkins) did the job, but he's a loosehead playing at tighthead.
"The two locks who have impressed me so far are Brent Cockbain and Chris Wyatt - Cockbain had a big game against Canada and Wyatt made a huge difference when he went on against Tonga."
