Australia A overwhelm Canada
Mat Rogers in action for NSW Waratahs
Australia A beat Canada by a massive 102-8 at Parramatta Stadium on Saturday.
Rugby league converts Mat Rogers and Wendell Sailor led the scoring, Rogers claiming three tries with Sailor adding a pair. Marc Stcherbina and David Lyons also scored two tries each for Australia A. Elton Flatley kicked 10 conversions for Australia A and also scored a try for a personal tally of 25 points. Nik Witkowski scored Canada's only try in the first half while Bob Ross added a penalty goal. Rogers will be hoping that his man-of-the-match performance is enough to see him named in the Australian Test squad on Tuesday. The loss ended Canada's short three-game tour on a bad note, adding to earlier losses to New South Wales Country and Sydney. The side will return home to host a Test against Scotland ahead of its World Cup qualifying series.
