Mal Roberts dives over for Launceston's final try against Redruth
|
Two late tries helped Launceston beat National League Two leaders Redruth in the Cornish derby at Polson Bridge.
Although the Cornish All Blacks led 9-8 at the halfway stage, the only try in the first period came from Redruth's Mark Bright.
The number eight dived in from a scrum on the Launceston five-metre line.
But All Blacks wing Hamish Smales and centre Mal Roberts both crossed late on to consign the Reds to only their third defeat of the season.
