Newbury took the lead early with a try by right-wing Nicholas Scott, which was converted by fly-half Gareth Griffiths.
Albion's first points came from a Ross Laidlaw penalty who then went on to score a good individual try, which he converted to put Albion 10-8 ahead.
Griffiths then stepped up to give the visitors a 11-10 lead at half time.
Griffiths kicked two more penalties at the start of the second half, before Albion scored a try in the 74th minute, which was converted by Alex Davies.
