Redruth's defence did not concede a try as they beat Wharfedale 18-15 to stay second in National League Two, a point behind Cornish rivals Launceston.
Rob Thirlby's late try secured the win for Redruth after they were four points down as full time approached.
Mark Scrivener hit two penalties and a conversion for Redruth while Owen Hambly got a try in the second half.
All Wharfedale's points came from the boot of Mark Bedworth, who scored four penalties and a drop goal.
