Exeter Chiefs colts knocked Jersey out of the RFU National Under-19s Plate with a 24-17 win at St Peter on Sunday.
Exeter scrum-half Adam Garner put his side ahead with a converted try, before Charlie Clyde-Smith went over in the corner for Jersey's opening score.
A well-worked pushover try from John Howard allowed the Chiefs to go into half time with a 12-5 advantage.
After the break the visitors extended their lead to 24-10 before Jersey closed the gap with two late tries.

Jersey fell further behind in the second half when James Harris touched down from a strong forward push, and Jack Pugsley made a superb conversion.
A second try for Clyde-Smith closed the gap for the home team.
Full-back Mark Livesey created an exciting finale for the 350 fans with a third Jersey try.
Exeter colts' manager Rob Steer said the match was "nail biting" and an "absolute cracker".
He told BBC Radio Jersey: "Full praise to Jersey, they came back at us and, in my view, they totally dominated the second half.
