"We gave Stade Francais a scare. It looked like we might have a real chance of winning the game but in the end, I don't think we controlled it like we should have done in the second half.
"We didn't use the elements as we should have and we made a few unforced errors.
"But we weren't disgraced. The players had a real optimism that we were going to win the game tonight and that is good. We just needed that extra five or 10% in the second half.
"It's a tough one but we aren't out of it. We'll give it one last go. If we get it right next weekend and get five points, it could be enough."
