Robinson's shoulder surgery came three weeks after he broke his elbow

Huddersfield Giants have extended England scrum-half Luke Robinson's contract until 2015. The 26-year-old had agreed a two-year deal extension in March but has now added another three years on top. Robinson, who was one of England's few stand-out players in the recent Four Nations tournament, will continue as hooker for his club. But the Giants' new number nine will miss the first month of next season after undergoing shoulder surgery.
