Huddersfield assistant coach Steve Deakin will move to France at the end of the year to join Super League hopefuls Union Treiziste Catalane.
Deakin will be in charge of a largely full-time squad at UTC, who are expected to join Super League in 2005.
"It's a challenge I'm very much looking forward to," said Deakin, who has signed a one-year deal.
"It's a very exciting and attractive place to go and it's a great
opportunity."
Deakin had spells with London, Keighley and Sheffield before joining
Huddersfield as Tony Smith's assistant.
