Whitehaven celebrated the acheivements of Kiwi trio David Fatialofa, Leroy Joe and Aaron Lester with a testimonial at the Recreation Ground on Friday.
The select side put together by the New Zealanders were beaten 42-10 on the night but for David Fatialofa the result was unimportant.
Fatialova told the Times & Star: "I was absolutely chuffed by the effort from the lads we assembled.
"They had only about two weeks to prepare but did themselves proud."
