They have still to receive confirmation that they meet the strict criteria laid down for promotion to the top flight.
But if they go up they hope to play two or three matches in Carlisle while they re-develop the Recreation Ground.
Club chairman Des Byrne said: "There are one or two things to finalise but the funding is just about there."
