Harrison takes England role

Salford coach Karl Harrison will take charge of the England team for the European Nations Cup.

Harrison takes over from Hull assistant boss John Kear, who will become the tournament's coaching consultant.

Wigan caretaker coach Denis Betts will assist Harrison during the six-team tournament this Autumn.

Whitehaven boss Steve McCormack will coach the Scotland side, Leeds' Daryl Powell will be in charge of Ireland and Stuart Wilkinson will coach Wales.
