Sinfield: Don't lose focus
test hello test
By Kevin Sinfield
Leeds Rhinos star and BBC Sport Online columnist
line

Kevin Sinfield says Leeds must concentrate for the entire 80 minutes if they are to stand a chance of beating St Helens in Sunday's Challenge Cup semi-final.

Last week's Super League defeat at Knowsley Road shows that you cannot afford to switch off for a second against Saints.

I thought we did enough to win the game, but you can't write them off. They've made a habit of winning games by scoring in the last minute.

The lads were disappointed, but hopefully we've learned from our mistakes and won't repeat them this weekend.

No points are at stake, it's a place in the Challenge Cup final that we are playing for
Kevin Sinfield

I'm really looking forward to the game, although it's going to be a massive task for us.

They've got so many stars across the board that we'll have to be totally prepared for anything they can throw at us.

It will be won and lost in the forwards - but that's where most games are decided. It's important for our pack to get on top of theirs.

We've got a dreadful record at the JJB Stadium. But it's a fantastic stadium and I'm looking to laying a few ghosts to rest.

In contrast, St Helens have had some great victories there, especially in the semi-final last year. We know it's a ground they like but that won't play on our minds.

People say Leeds are the form side of the competition, but Saints are going great guns in Super League.

It should be an entertaining game and it will be interesting to see who wins.

The players are pumped up for this one. No points are at stake, it's a place in the Challenge Cup final that we are playing for.
