Favourites Alinghi (left) dominate race one, the team take an early lead and win the race by over a minute
Alinghi speed to cross the line unhindered in race two, as Oracle drop a spinnaker pole and lose valuable time
Race three goes to the wire but Alinghi (right) triumph by one second to move into a commanding 3-0 lead
Oracle fight back in race four to grab their first win, finishing two minutes 34 seconds ahead of Alinghi
Alinghi extend their series lead in race five, winning by 13 seconds to move within one race of overall victory
After a rest day, Alinghi seal their success, winning race six by two minutes 34 seconds to take the Louis Vuitton
The Alinghi crew celebrate earning the right to challenge New Zealand for the America's Cup in February
