The Czechs improved on their seventh spot four years ago

The Czech Republic wrapped up the ice hockey bronze with a 3-0 win over Russia in Turin on Saturday.
The Czechs, who had finished just seventh in Salt Lake City four years ago, went ahead in the first period courtesy of Martin Erat.
They then stretched that to 2-0 in the following period when Marek Zidlicky found the target.
Russia had a goal disallowed two minutes from time before Martin Straka scored with eight seconds left.
It was only the second time in Russia's history that they have failed to win a medal in the ice hockey at the Winter Olympics.
