Fiedler and the Dolphins have suffered this year

Miami quarterback Jay Fiedler will miss the rest of the season with a herniated disc in his neck.
Fiedler and fellow QB AJ Feeley have had a tough time this year as the Dolphins have slumped to a 1-9 win-loss record.
The pair have both been in and out of the team as head coach Dave Wannstedt struggled to put a winning line-up together.
He resigned during the team's bye week, and interim coach Jim Bates named Feeley as his starter for the following game against Seattle.
Feeley injured his hip against the Seahawks and was replaced by Fiedler, who got hurt in his only series.
He has since seen a spine specialist who recommended time off for his neck problem to heal.
"Obviously, I'm disappointed in the fact that I won't be able to finish the year with the team," Fiedler said.
"But for my career, the best thing is to sit out the rest of the year and be ready and healthy to go next year."
Fielder's enforced break leaves Feeley and Sage Rosenfels as the only quarterbacks on the Dolphins' active roster.
