Archibald in bronze winning crew
Coleraine's Richard Archibald was a member of the Irish Lightweight Fours team that raced to a bronze medal at the World Cup Regatta final in Germany.

The Irish quartet were just pipped by Germany for second place after contesting the lead from France in mid-race.

Archibald, along with Paul Griffin, Tim Harnedy and Eugene Coakley faded in the final stretch as a silver beckoned.

Ireland's heavyweight four also took a bronze medal in Munich.
