Worcester Wolves won a high scoring battle on the south coast, seeing off their hosts Worthing Thunder 116-110.
Player-coach Skouson Harker was in fine form as he led the scoring with 32 points, while Harry Disy hit 26.
Nine Harker points helped Wolves into an early 17-9 lead, which they were able to convert into a 36-28 advantage.
The margin mushroomed during a dominant second period, with an 11-3 run to close the half putting Worcester firmly in control at 66-49 at half time.
Wolves' lead peaked at 21 points with the score at 74-53 early in the third quarter before Thunder began to mount a fightback.
They continued to pressurise during a frantic fourth quarter and closed the gap to just three points at 112-109 with 1 minute 14 seconds on the clock.
But Harker scored the game's clinching basket and followed it with two free throws to seal a valuable win for his team.
Wolves have no game next weekend and return to action at Worcester University on Saturday, 15 November against bottom-of-the-table London Capitals
