Alsager pole-vaulter Kate Dennison says she is looking to set a new personal best at the Beijing Olympics.
She told the BBC: "If I jump a personal best and that makes it to the final I'll be very happy.
"I had a solid indoor season but since then I've struggled with a few injuries, but I'm in good shape so it's up to me to go and do what I can do."
Dennison, who is competing in her first Olympics, begins her campaign in the pole vault on Saturday.
