Jim McKernan's side were beaten by Carlow

Down's bid to avoid relegation to Allianz NHL Division Three suffered a major setback as they lost 3-18 to 2-11 to Carlow at Dr Cullen Park on Sunday.
Two Robert Foley goals in the opening eight minutes helped Carlow to an early lead of 2-2 to 0-1 but Paul Braniff replied with a 14th-minute Down goal.
The Mournemen trailed 2-8 to 1-4 at the break and Paddy Kehoe scored Carlow's third goal to increase their advantage.
Ciaran Coulter was red-carded and Braniff then netted direct from a free.
Those two early goals from full-forward Foley, plus two points from Paddy Kehoe, saw Carlow race into a seven-point lead.
Braniff's goal helped Down reduce their half-time deficit to seven points.
Minutes after Kehoe scored Carlow's third goal, Coulter was shown a straight red card for a very careless stroke.
Braniff kept Down in touch and scored his side's second goal but they could not avoid defeat.
Simon Wilson and Alan Higgins were yellow-carded late in the game.
