Cavan duo 'will play'
Dermot McCabe of Cavan
Dermot McCabe of Cavan has been sidelined by a knee injury
BBC GAA pundit Martin McHugh has predicted that Dermot McCabe and Nicholas Walsh will tog out for Cavan in Sunday week's replay against Down.

Cavan sources had said earlier this week that McCabe would definitely be ruled out of the 30 May replay because he required a knee operation.

However, McHugh told a BBC Northern Ireland GAA webchat on Thursday evening that McCabe would be available.

"I know for a fact McCabe and Walsh will tog out," said the ex-Cavan boss.

The Donegal legend said the availability of the duo could tip the balance in Cavan's favour at Breffni Park.

Reports earlier this week claimed that McCabe was scheduled to have keyhole surgery on his knee on 27 May.

Both the Gowna man and young talent Walsh missed last weekend's drawn game at Casement Park.
