Cavan and Dublin have become the latest counties to back proposals to open Croke Park to other sports.
On Monday evening, both counties' annual conventions passed motions which would give the GAA's Central Council the power to make the historic change.
The Cavan motion, submitted by the Ramor United Club, and the Dublin one, from Kilmacud Crokes, will go before the National Congress next April.
Also on Monday evening, Waterford delegates rejected a similar motion.
