Cahill names Antrim panel
Dinny Cahill has made a positive impact in his first year in charge
Dinny Cahill could add further players to his squad
Antrim hurling manager Dinny Cahill has named an opening panel of 29 players in his senior county panel for the 2003 season.

The panel contains few surprises and the manager says that other players could be added to the squad after a series of trials scheduled for late November and early December.

Antrim have made progress since Cahill took the job a year ago.

While they narrowly missed out on achieving National Hurling League promotion by losing to Laois in the Division Two Final, the Saffrons did defeat Down in the Ulster Final.

Antrim then put up a creditable display against Tipperary in the All-Ireland Quarter-Finals.

Antrim hurling panel: Ciaran Kelly (Ballycastle), Aidan Delargy (Cushendall), Mickey Mc Cambridge (Cushendall), Sean Delargy (Cushendall), Conor Mc Cambridge (Cushendall), Ryan Mc Naughton (Cushendall), Odhran Scullion (Cushendall), Karl Mc Keegan (Cushendall), Aiden Mort (Cushendun), Liam Richmond (Dunloy), Conor Cunning (Dunloy), Paddy Richmond (Dunloy), Malachy Molloy (Dunloy), Gareth Magee (Dunloy), Gregory O' Kane (Dunloy), Colm McGuckian (Dunloy), Michael Herron (Lamh Dearg), Ciaran Herron (Lamh Dearg), DD Quinn (Loughgiel), John Campbell (Loughgiel), Liam Watson (Loughgiel), Martin Scullion (Loughgiel), Jim Connolly (Rossa), Joe Boyle (Rossa), Paul Close (Rossa), Gavin Bell (Rossa), Micky Kettle (Rossa), Brian McFall (St John's), Dermot McAuley (St Paul's).
